In one sentence: In a Macau music shop, look for in-store trials, advice matched to level and budget, and tuning support after purchase. KARON Education's instrument store at Rua da Barca HQ shows CAROD and Pearl River/Ritmüller pianos plus Roland digital pianos and V-Drums, with discounts for students.

Five questions before buying

  1. Can I try and compare several models?
  2. Will someone recommend a model by level, budget and space?
  3. Can I rent first?
  4. Is tuning and maintenance available afterwards?
  5. Are there student discounts?

Acoustic or digital?

Beginners don't need an acoustic piano right away — lessons use centre pianos and a digital piano works at home. Your advisor suggests when to upgrade. For flats, consider a silent smart piano such as the CAROD T23.

What's in store

CAROD smart pianos (SA6-S, C6-S walnut upright, T23 silent, grand), Pearl River · Ritmüller, Roland V-Drums, and teacher-selected guitars, ukuleles and Chinese instruments — all at Rua da Barca.
