FAQ
Art class FAQ
What age can children start art classes?
From 5, in watercolour or coloured-pencil groups. Younger kids start with coloured pencil and simple observation before watercolour.
Can adult beginners join?
Yes. Adult classes start with simple still life; no sketching background needed.
How big are the classes?
4–6 students, so each gets individual guidance.
Do I need my own materials?
Basic materials are provided for trial and beginner lessons; later your advisor suggests a sensible personal kit.
Watercolour or oil?
Watercolour for a relaxed start and quicker results; oil for colour depth and traditional technique. Not sure? Try a watercolour trial.
Can I use the PDAC continuing-education subsidy?
Not for art at the moment. KARON's approved PDAC courses are piano, guitar, drums and guzheng.
How much are art classes?
It depends on the medium, number of lessons and time slot. Your advisor gives a clear quote after the trial.
